In Nomine Satanis™ & Magna Veritas™

These french Roleplaying Games deal with Demons and Angels. The two factions are fighting a merciless but hidden war in the contemporary world. The Character roll three 6-sided dices to define the power of his Character. The random system is based upon three 6-sided dices rolls. The great difference between Angels and Demons is for the Critical hits and Critical Errors. For a Demon Critical is obtained with 666 (the Number of the Beast) and the Critical Error with 111 (the Number of the Christ). For an Angel, you just have to invert! As a consequence, if you're a Demon, you must roll the highest results possible to succeed and if you're n Angel, you must roll the lowest results possible to succeed.

Our Opinion

Advantages :

A tremendous number of powers are available to create the Character.

Defects :

The major defect is the Rule system. Three six-sided dices defined a very low amplitude for the results and is very penalizing for Players, because even if a Character is well-skilled, it's easy to fail an action. And for the War between Angel and Demons, it's very similar to the War between Vampires and Werewolves in the RPGs of the same name!
