
The Call of Cthulhu™
The Call of Chtulhu is based upon novels from H.P. Lovecraft. Players are human confronted with phenomenons impliing abcient divinities and their minions and also extraterrestrials. The Call oh Chtulhu currently takes place in the years 1920 and their mysteries. Players choose an archetype such as Policeman, Amateur, Journalist, Writer or Occultist etc... The rule system is a percentage system. Characteristics are rolled with three 6-sided dices. For the Experience, the rule system is similar to Stormbringer. Players will travel around the world to apprehend the mystery of Chtulhu. However, each time a Character is confronted with a monter, he loses Points of SAN. If the Character has no more SAN, he becomes crazy!!!

Advantages :
The atmoshere of Chtulhu is unique, its why the Call of Chtulhu remains a reference Roleplaying Game.
Defects :
The main problem is linked to the Game Masters! When a monster dies, the Character gain 1D4 Points of San and no GM applies this rule!
The Call of Chtulhu depends on the Game Master's talent because the atmosphere is extremely redundent. The Call of Chtulhu needs an experienced Game Master to be interesting.
