Bloodlust™
This french Roleplaying Game was providing an original concept : the Player wasn't a Character but a weapon instead. The Character wasn't important and was relegated to a simple bearer. However, he could earn Experience Points even if a part of it was for the weapon. The weapon may acquire new abilities and improve it's damages and existing abilities. We wanted to mention this Roleplaying Game for this very interesting concept.
Our Opinion
Advantages :
A good Roleplaying Game sustained by a strong rule system.
Defects :
A very limited longevity due to the repetitivity of the scenarios (It's rare to see a weapon involved in romance or politic!), even if the death of the bearer doesn't mean the end of the "real" Character, the weapon, because another bearer could use it. The major defect of this Roleplaying Game was to be tiresome.
