Who Roleplaying Games are for ?

An apriorism of lay persons let them think that Role Playing Games are intended to 12-18 years old people and that's false. In fact, Role Playing Games concern a large age-bracket and there's no upper limit. However, as some RPGs are somewhat violent, we won't recommend them to children under 12.

Likewise, some people think that RPGs are for male people because of their content : it's also false. Although male people are in the majority, female people also play RPGs and are even passionate (Yes, it is!). Let surf on the web and you'll discover many sites whose webmaster is female!

It's no use classifying Role Players in socio-professional categories : they are not only schoolboys, secondary schoolboys or students. You may find Role Players in any socio-professional activity. The thruth is that when you work, you spend most of your time with your family, hobbies and friends. Then it is more difficult to play, but some people who are really fans manage to find time to play however.

As a conclusion, everybody may play Roleplaying Games. The only criterion is imagination and the willingness to express it withour fearing of investing time in this fabulous activity that RPG is.
