Civil Status

Hello! I'm Baldwin Tanelwinerin. I was born on november 1970 and I started Roleplaying Games in 1984 with the Black Eye which was a good initiating Roleplaying Game and after using the heroes books. I've tested many existing Roleplaying Games before writing my own RPG : Akriss that I will present to you in the related page "Akeiss".  I live in France and my nickname comes from Sheratan's Roleplaying Game : Aventures Arcanes. Baldwin is my oldest Character and I play him regularly since 1992. I'm fond of cats, video games and computers.

Baldwin and Roleplaying Games

I've been playing RPGs for more than twenty years at a regular pace (between one and five times a week). I've tested well-knowm RPGs (AD&D, MERP, Runequest...) but also not so known ones ("Bitume", Scales, Sheratan's RPGs, no I'm joking!!!) I've been testing as Player and Game Master. About the end of the eighties, I created my first RPG : Akriss. Classic Heroic-Fantasy world, but original diceless system. More recently, I created "Earthian" and "In the Sky". The last one is based upon aviation between the 30's to the 40's.

I'm fond of video games. However, I'm very exacting about it. I think that magazines are too likely to appreciate a game for it's graphics. Me, I think that playing Quake 23 is uninteresting if the only add consists in more textures and polygons! I hate console games because they're "stupidizer" (no tactic, no strategy, unique solution to a given problem). So, for Video Games, I'm a grouser! (in the rest of life also!!!).

Outside these two hobbies which occupies most of my time, I'd like having a walk in the forest or bicycling. I like swimming too, but I'm chilly nd agoraphobic, so I rarely practise.
